About Us
Mountain Youth Network in Clear Creek County is a true community-based initiative. Our coalition includes individuals from a range of sectors: law enforcement, education, faith community, health and human services, government, youth-serving organizations, students, community organizations, parents, and local businesses. We first started our process in Clear Creek in the summer of 2016.

HOW WE STARTED:
The Colorado Department of Public Health & Environment (CDPHE) requested ongoing funding from the marijuana tax cash fund for youth substance abuse prevention.
The funding was designated for the implementation of the Communities that Care (CTC) model in over 40 communities across Colorado.
Our local public health agency was eligible for this opportunity because mental health and substance abuse were documented as priorities in the Public Health Improvement Plan for Clear Creek County.
Mountain Youth Network is now funded through foundation contributions in addition to the state sponsored CTC grant.
Our Mission:
Together in Clear Creek County we inspire and support our youth to find their path to hope, health, and happiness.
Our Vision:
Elevating youth
